Summer Safe Shipping
We are now offering Fedex Cold Chain and UPS Summer Solutions. We have included zone 5 this year, however, as you will find the price is very expensive.
For this zone we recommend shipping 2 day with ice or use UPS summer solutions, if applicable. For rates or more information email info@bodegashippingco.com.
Fedex Cold Chain Guidelines
- Orders must be submitted to Bodega on Monday by 12pm for the shipment to ship the same week
- Fedex will pick up from us Thursday of each week and will be consolidated at a temp control warehouse in Napa
- Fedex will deliver Tuesday or Wednesday the following week, depending on the zone
- All deliveries will be made via Fedex overnight services
- Weeks that have a holiday (ie Memorial day, 4th of July, Labor Day, etc.) will have a delayed delivery day
UPS Summer Solutions
- The winery must write “Summer Solutions or UPS SS” on the shipping form for this rate to be honored. If this is not written the shipment will be charged the next day air rate.
- Offered on 4-12 bottles only
- For the 2nd day air rate your package(s) will be upgraded to next day air at no additional cost
- Orders submitted by 12pm will be prioritized to ship same day
- Orders of 10 and more will ship the following business day
- If received after 12pm, orders will be shipped the following day
- “Summer Solutions” must be written on the form
